Rope as contact

As life becomes demanding, we can drift from ourselves. AIDA METHOD is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to the body. In Shinto tradition, shimenawa is the rope used to mark sacred spaces. In AIDA METHOD, rope becomes a way to honor the body as it is: alive, here. Combined with sound, breath, touch, and gentle movement, it extends the body, opening space for deeper sensation, attention, and inner shift.

Session flow

The day of the session is designed as a pause from ordinary time: a space to feel received, to slow down, and to be fully present with yourself. Each session unfolds in three parts.

Arrival

We begin by sharing tea and slowing down together through conversation, building trust and preparing the ground for the session.

Contact

As the session deepens, sensation, attention, and emotion begin to shift, opening space for new ways of feeling and perceiving.

Integration

We close slowly with warmth and care, allowing what has shifted to settle and carry into daily life.

Common questions

Is it painful?

No. This work is gentle, and pain is not used as a tool.

Is it sexual?

No. This is a non-sexual practice held with clear boundaries and consent.

Is experience necessary?

No experience is needed. We move slowly, and your body leads.

Is this therapy?

AIDA METHOD is a practice of presence, not psychotherapy or medical treatment.

Can I come accompanied?

Yes. If arriving with someone would help you feel more at ease, please mention it in your inquiry.

What should I wear?

Soft, comfortable clothing is recommended. Linen garments are available on request.

Is it related to Shibari or Kinbaku?

These words have deep roots and continue to evolve. In AIDA METHOD, rope is used alongside breath, sound, and touch as a form of rope meditation: a quiet practice of presence in the body.

Is there a student or reduced rate?

A small number of reduced-rate sessions are available. If this would support access, please mention it in your inquiry.
